If you long for the days of poodle skirts and rock and roll, this event is for you! 50’s Fever includes a Classic Car Show, Costume Contest (best male and best female 50’s costume), 50’s Contests (Hula Hoop, Bubble Gum Blowing, Car Hop Relay, Paddle Ball, 50’s Bingo, and more). Have lunch in the “Do Wop Diner” featuring all the foods you remember from the old soda fountain and local drive-in. You won’t want to miss the entertainment starting at noon featuring Eddie Hughes and his amazing “Echos of Elvis” presentation – you’ll think Elvis is back in the building! Eddie is backed by Rich and the Resistors playing all the oldies from the 50’s. Bring you saddle shoes and dance away to your favorite tunes. The highlight of the day will be the CLASSIC CAR SHOW featuring some of the most fantastic cars you have ever seen. This is your opportunity to talk to the owners, find out the history of their cars, how they got started, and see if this is the right hobby for you. 50’s Fever is a benefit for Honor Flight Minnesota. Help us raise enough money to send a World War II veteran to Washington DC to see the monument dedicated to the sacrifice they preformed for their country. 50’s Fever takes place at Meridian Manor, 163 W.
