2015 Mustang Rally of the Finger Lakes

July 30, 2015 - Thursday - The 2015 annual Mustang Rally of the Finger Lakes will kick off this year for those who wish to participate early on Thursday, July 30st with a cruise-in car show at the Wegmans in Canandaigua from 4 to 8 PM.

July 31, 2015 - Friday - 1:00 to 3:00, a Meet & Greet Lunch will be hosted at the Glen Club located in Watkins Glen, NY. This will be followed by Thunder Road Tours at Watkins Glenn International Raceway at 4:30 pm. (There is a $25.00 fee. You must pre-register by July 30th to participate in the Thunder Roads Tour.) We will then travel for dinner in Waterloo at Mac's Drive In-a 50's era drive-in restaurant with authentic carhops and casual food.

August 1, 2015 - Saturday - Another fun filled day for Mustang enthusiasts! It all begins with a $5.00 breakfast at the Phelps Community Center (from 9AM until 11AM) where registration will open at 9AM. An informational meeting will be held at 10AM to welcome all participants, and the car show will take place from 10AM until 3PM at the Phelps Community Center located at Banta St. just off Rte. 96/Main St. Phelps.

The awards ceremony will be held at 3PM prior to the parade. At 3:45, the Cruiser Parade will lead the Sauerkraut Weekend Parade which draws about 10,000 viewers.

August 2, 2015 - Sunday - The Cruise Around The Finger Lakes Poker Run, Open To ALL Types of Vehicles, will take place 10:00 am - 3:00 pm. $25.00 pre-registration is required to participate, and must be received by July 30th. Anyone wishing to travel the course together should meet at the Phelps Community Center at 10:00 a.m. Maps of the course will be provided. If you are traveling on your own, please get your maps on Saturday at the Car Show or be at the Community Center by 10:00 am to receive a copy. You'll be expected to follow traffic laws as you travel 125 scenic miles, stopping at 5 locations where you will receive a random playing card. While enjoying the view at your own leisure, you must return to the Phelps American Legion by 3PM where additional cards may be purchased if you want to increase your chances of winning. Only natural poker hands qualify. 50% of the entry fees will be rewarded in cash prizes: 25% to the overall best hand, 10% to the two next best hands, and 5% to the overall 4th best hand. There will also be a prize for the worst hand.

After such a fun filled weekend, you're not going to want it to end! So be sure to pre-register and order a chicken BBQ dinner at the Phelps American Legion so you can stay-just a little bit longer...

Be sure to pre-register by July 14th to be entered in a drawing for special door prizes!

Registration fees as follows:

Thunder Road at Watkins Glenn 8/1- $25 due by 7/30
Car Show 8/2 - Preregistration is $25. That includes car show registration, a shirt, door prizes, and parade. Extra t-shirts may be purchased for $15/shirt. Registration the day of the event will be $30 and will not include a t-shirt.
Cruise Around The Finger Lakes Poker Run 8/3 - must preregister by 7/15. There is a $25 fee to participate.
Chicken Dinner at the Phelps American Legion 8/3 - must order with your preregistration. $10/meal.
