The R.E. Olds Transportation Museum is pleased to announce that our 24th annual Car Capital Auto Show is scheduled for Saturday, July 30, 2016.
Building on last year’s success, we will again be holding the show in downtown Lansing around the Capitol and surrounding streets. The show is open to all makes and models of cars, motorcycles, and trucks; drawing over 300 vehicles and filling the streets of downtown with thousands of spectators of all ages. Not only is the show a wonderful, family friendly event for the greater Lansing area, but it also draws visitors from all over the surrounding counties and state, introducing them to all the Lansing area has to offer.
The R.E. Olds Transportation Museum is a non-profit 501(c)(3); our mission is to be an educational establishment that collects, preserves, studies, and exhibits items that illustrate the part Lansing played in the development of transportation ; with special emphasis on the automobile and its effects on the community and its people. The Museum is open to the public and operated for the betterment of the community.
