"Celebrating 50th Anniversary of the Type 3"
May 22, 2011 9:00am—3:00 pm
This year as in past years it will again be held in Ypsilanti’s Riverside Park.
This years festival promises to be packed with fun for the entire family, even the kids will have something to do.
Saturday events will include a visit to the Billet Proof Car Show, followed by lunch and a short cruise around the area. Then to top the day off we will be having a pre-festival Picnic at the South end of the Park.
The festival is a Non-Judged Car Show Celebrating ALL Variations of the rear-engine VW – Originals, restorations, customs, race cars, drag cars, kit cars, dune buggies, trikes, ratrods, daily beaters…Everything rear-engine Volkswagen ! As in past years we will have a large swap meet at the park if you need parts for you VWs or other things of interest.
